Step up to the challenge with AUSTRALIA'S LARGEST OFF-ROAD TRIATHLON and a simply spectacular race through the pristine wilderness at Dunsborough, WA  with the 3rd annual X-Adventure off-road triathlon!

When:       

Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th March 2015

What: An adventure triathlon in paradise with Long Course, Short Course and Kids Races over a 2 day weekend.
Where: Dunsborough, WA – one of Mother Nature’s finest race venues
Who: 1,500 competitors took part in 2014, make sure you're part of the action in 2015!
Entry: Entries will be open in October 2014.

 

3 RACES - INDIVIDUALS AND RELAY TEAMS

  • LONG COURSE:

1.5km ocean swim
12km coastal trail run
22km mountain bike

  • SHORT COURSE:

700m ocean swim
6km coastal trail run
12km mountain bike

  • KIDS COURSE :

200m swim
2.5km trail run
4km mountain bike


THE COURSE AND LOCATION

If you’re going to put your body to the test you may as well do it amongst some of the best landscapes Mother Nature has to offer, and what better example of that is there than Dunsborough on Geographe Bay, WA, host of this spectacular off-road triathlon?

Tackle the course and you’ll swim in an ocean of turquoise water, run along a sculpted granite coastline interspersed with golden sandy beaches and mountain bike on roller coaster single track through fields of wildflowers and native grasstrees.

Ben Allen and Jacqui Slack take victory at X-Adventure

Day 2 of the X-Adventure, Dunsborough – Australia’s largest off-road triathlon - saw athletes take on the challenging course of a 1500m ocean swim, 12km coast and trail run and 22km mountain bike. Ben Allen was first across the finish line in an overall time of 2:18:37, setting a new course record and 18 minutes in front of his nearest rival.

Day 1 of the X-Adventure, Dunsborough off-road triathlon saw 1,600 athletes take on the Short Course, and over 350 children ranging from 6 years of age to 17, take on the Kids X-Adventure.
