THE COURSE AND LOCATION
If you’re going to put your body to the test you may as well do it amongst some of the best landscapes Mother Nature has to offer, and what better example of that is there than Dunsborough on Geographe Bay, WA, host of this spectacular off-road triathlon?
Tackle the course and you’ll swim in an ocean of turquoise water, run along a sculpted granite coastline interspersed with golden sandy beaches and mountain bike on roller coaster single track through fields of wildflowers and native grasstrees.
We have also added 3 standalone kayak races to the program so those who like the on water racing can be part of the action 'down south.
“The course is amazing - a great swim, rock hopping along the coast, able to pick up a bit of speed on the trail run on the way back and then the mountain bike course just speaks for itself - it’s a mountain bikers dream with heaps of single track and twists and turns. I was smiling the whole way!” Ben Allen, X-Adventure Dunsborough 2014 Long Course Winner
“I enjoyed every minute of it. The mountain bike course is great with super technical single track and lots of wash out turns. It's probably the most fun mountain bike course I’ve ever done. It was just awesome out there." Jacqui Slack, X-Adventure Dunsborough 2014 Long Course Female Winner
