We are very excited to announce the Ford Rainforest Ride (formerly the Ford Otway Cycling Classic) will be held again in 2013 on Sunday 24th February.

The 2013 Ford Rainforest Ride is a mass participation road cycling event (not a race) with three different rides to suit all types of cyclists, from a challenging 140km circuit to a tranquil 23km journey suitable for families, all amidst the magnificent Otway Rainforest in and around Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road

The courses will include the full 140km Rainforest Circuit along Turtans Track through Lavers Hill, the 70km Lighthouse Discovery Ride to Cape Otway and back again and the 23km Waterfall Explorer ride to Marriners Falls and back again.

All proceeds from the event go directly to Give Where You Live.  GWYL has been serving the Geelong community since 1954 as a premier philanthropic organisation dedicated to improving lives in the Geelong region. Click here for more information about GWYL

Rapid Ascent will again be managing the logistics and customer service sides of the 2013 event.

So be sure to put this date in the diary and tell your friends, family and colleagues about this stunning ride around the Otway Rainforest.  It certainly is not to be missed!
