Half price entry for New Zealand residents - terms and conditions:

  • The half price offer applies to all events conducted at each of the Adventure Fest weekends (Augusta and Lorne) so include the premier Lorne Adventure Fest, Lorne Mini and Lorne Junior Survivor
  • The half price entry is available for individual competitors, pairs and teams where the majority of competitors are New Zealand residents (so if a team of 4 people, 3 must be from NZL)
  • To qualify as a New Zealand resident you must live in New Zealand for at least 6 months of the year and provide proof of residency if requested
  • Half price entries for race #2 at Augusta must be submitted before September 21st 2012 in order to qualify and the international / interstate entry allowance is limited to 10% of the field (75 entries)

Refund policy for all events

  • If a competitor voluntary withdraws from the event more than 2 weeks (PRIOR TO: Sunday 23rd November 2014, 9AM) prior to event to the event entrants have the choice of receiving either a CREDIT or REFUND

    CREDIT: Towards a subsequent event less an administration fee which will be 75% of the cash refund offered - see below. You must inform us in writing (email is sufficient - [email protected]) before this time. Any payment for Personal Accident Insurance or SMS Results service will be refunded in full.

              REFUND: Refund can be offered less an administration fee of 20% of the entry fee paid with a minimum of $10                     and a maximum of $50. You must inform us in writing (e-mail is sufficient - [email protected]) Any                          payment for Personal Accident Insurance OR SMS Results service will be refunded in full.

  • If a competitor withdraws less than 2 weeks prior to the event - no refund will be offered. (AFTER: Sunday 23rd November 2014, 9am)

  • In the event that the race is cancelled due to extreme climatic conditons, no refund will be given.

Interstate Competitors
Rapid Ascent will reserve 50 entries for interstate competitors for the event. If these entries have not been used three weeks prior to the event they will be released to the public.
 

Other entry notes

  • Entries are NOT transferrable. We generously allow you to make changes to your entries including your names which makes it pretty hard to stop automatically, however we keep a log of all changes and compare the initial entry with the registration listing. In the case of team entries, at least one team member must remain the same as when initially entered.
  • Changes to team composition may be done by e-mailing [email protected] by 5pm on the Wednesday 3rd December 2014 before the event. After that, a $10 administration fee will apply per change and there are no guarantees that the correct names will be included in the program or results. Please contact us if you have an urgent change in the last week.
  • Changes that affect categories or entry fee pricing MUST be communicated to Rapid Ascent. Failure to abide may result in disqualification
  • Changes to a team which result in an increase in entry fee will require the difference to be paid. or refunded.
  • Changes to a team which result in an decrease in entry fee will not be refunded.
  • Payment for online entries is via 128-bit encrypted credit card transaction.
