AUGUSTA - SYNONYMOUS WITH 'ADVENTURE'

Augusta is a quiet coastal township at the end of the road, 30minutes South of Margaret River. It has a range of wild landscapes on its doorstep and air so fresh it makes your lungs sing for joy. But on the first weekend in November each year the town and surrounds comes alive with an electric atmosphere of wild adventure when the Act-Belong-Commit Augusta Adventure Fest * rolls in to town.

With three different races, a wilderness landscape in front of you and plenty of people to enjoy it with, the Act-Belong-Commit Augusta Adventure Fest provides an uplifting, adventure experience for everyone. Make sure you are part of the action in WA’s home of adventure.

*Formerly known as the Anaconda Adventure Race

AUGUSTA'S WILD WILDERNESS

The landscape around Augusta is perfect for off-road adventures with its wild rocky coastline and towering lighthouse, its undulating hinterland covered in dense wilderness, its sheltered bays and protected Hardy Inlet, its secluded beaches, its friendly people and its fresh fresh air. All this and more provides the perfect race venue for The World’s Biggest Adventure Race.

There really is nothing like it. It's the Wild West in every adventurous sense.

THE RACES

Augusta is a special place. The races are special. There’s something on offer for everyone; with three different events for adventurers of all ages and four different off-road disciplines including ocean swimming and kyaking, trail running and mountain biking. Choose your event and get your entry in.

THREE RACE FORMATS:

1. Act-Belong-Commit Augusta Adventure Race:

The premier race for the more experienced (or the more determined!) adventure racer over a 63km course, including ocean swimming, kayaking, mountain biking and trail running. Open to individuals and relay teams.

Sunday 2nd November - Event Information

2. Act-Belong-Commit Augusta MINI Adventure Race:

A half distance race ideal for younger competitors and first timers, designed to provide a taste of adventure without the intimidating distances involved in the full length version. The course includes ocean swimming, inlet kayaking, mountain biking and trail running. Open to relay teams and individuals; and great for newcomers and female participation!

Saturday 1st November - Event Information

3. Act-Belong-Commit Junior Survivor Augusta:

A 4km running and obstacle course for kids aged 4 to 13. The super fun adventure challenge gives kids a dose of off-road excitement!

Saturday 1st November - Event Information

*A portion of the race field for the Adventure Race and the MINI is reserved for competitors coming from interstate or overseas - and these entries still remain. Entries for WA competitors have sold out. Click here for more information.

THE SUPPORTERS

For the support crew of family and friends, there's plenty of local attractions plus an adventure expo with sponsors stands, market stalls, food, event bar, kids entertainment, live music and plenty more all on the scenic foreshore.

So lock Saturday 1st November and Sunday 2nd November in the diary now, get the family out training, pack the car and book your accommodation because the Augusta Adventure Fest is always a huge weekend down in Augusta, WA!
