The Anaconda Adventure Race at Augusta is a spectacular off-road event in a truly wild part of the world – if you want an adventure you’ll never forget then this is just the ticket.

Competitors in this renowned event will follow a simply spectacular course through true wilderness and untouched landscapes in and around picturesque Augusta - running around dramatic rocky headlands beside crashing waves, swimming between tranquil ocean reefs alive with (friendly) fish, paddling on the stunning Hardy Inlet and protected Southern Ocean and mountain biking through scenic inland forests along local single tracks so fun you’re cheeks will be sore from smiling so much.

With adventures this impressive its no surprises that this event has been recognised as the Worlds Biggest Adventure Race for the last two years with a capacity field of 1600 competitors setting the atmosphere alive. There really is nothing like it.

Combine this untamed enthusiasm with an adventure expo with sponsors stands, market stalls, food, event bar, kids entertainment, live music and plenty more all on the scenic Augusta foreshore and you have the ultimate weekend of adventure. This is one hell of an event.

You can GO THE DISTANCE.

The Augusta Anaconda Adventure Race is the second race in the 2010 Anaconda Adventure Race National Series – the premier adventure racing series in Australia. With 3 races held in equally spectacular locations around the country you will be part of the off-road revolution that is sweeping the country.

Choose your style and get involved - Anaconda Adventure Races can be completed in a range of categories to get anyone and everyone to the start, and then over the finish line:
  • Individuals – do every leg as a non stop race around the track
  • Pairs – do every leg but in the company of your mate who’s by your side the whole way round
  • Relay teams – with up to 4 people where you do one (or more) legs each. A great way to get involved without being a super hero – build up a team of friends and work colleagues and join all the fun
