Michael Brosnan is the 2XU Swim and Kayak half of the equation to match the previously published Mark Martin profile (easily confused with the Silver Surfer with his ripped abs).
However there seems to be some conjecture as to who “conned" whom into competing at this years Anaconda Adventure Race Gold Coast to be held at Tugun on August 5th. We suspect it might in fact be the case that both were looking for a reason to compete and decided to dip their toes in gently as a team – we’re glad they have and are sure that they’ll enjoy themselves immensely.
So who is Michael ... or Brozzo as he’s affectionately known ? Well we can tell you as a Gold Coast local, Brozzo’s sporting highlights include completing 15 marathons (no less), and his love of sports sees an obvious cross-over to his working life as co-director of Endura Sports Nutrition.
Brozzo’s weekly training regime consists of paddling, running, and swimming, and is looking forward to his Anaconda Adventure Race debut as it adds some purpose to his training.
This is definitely one team watch.
