It is with great enthusiasm that we invite all the kids on the Gold Coast to join us for an adventure event designed especially for them – The Anaconda Junior Survivor Challenge that is set to take place from the Palm Beach Parklands on September 4th, 2010.
The Anaconda Junior Survivor is a super fun adventure challenge event designed and run especially for children aged between 5 and 13 years of age. The event involves a range of exciting obstacles and water activities set around a 4km course that kids run, jump and explore their way around in a friendly bush and beach environment.
Obstacles such as ‘elastic fantastic’, ‘walk the plank’ and ‘live wire’ provide kids with a simple challenge that does not require explanation or assistance but teaches them to be independent and seek fun and entertainment by being outside and active, rather than plonked in front of the TV or X-box. The course is marked and marshaled and keeps away from all roads so all participants are assured of a safe, fun time.
The 2010 Anaconda Junior Survivor will be the 5th year of this fun loving event that is now a permanent fixture on the local calendar and regularly attracts over 400 kids who make their way around the courses without incident or injury.
Visit the event website to see footage from Channel 10’s ‘Totally Wild’ program who filmed the 2009 event, as well as photos from previous events, Survivor’s instructions and all the event info.
In fact ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN with interest and enthusiasm at record high levels – make sure you get your entries in ASAP to avoid missing out.
There will also be an Anaconda Junior Survivor held before each Anaconda Adventure Race this so if you live in WA your time to shine is Saturday November 6th at Augusta and if you’re from Victoria then you’re up on Saturday December 4th 2010.
