Adventure orgasm: there’s no other way to describe what’s on offer when it comes to some of the newer multisport events hitting the calendar later this year across Australia.
Rapid Ascent’s own Anaconda Adventure Race National Series kicks off in Noosa, Qld, August 11-12, and the Mainpeak Multisport in Perth 9 September). Both events are but infants, the former being the first hit-out of the much loved Anaconda Adventure Race format but in an all new location and featuring the debut of the Anaconda 'Mini' to whet beginners' adventure appetites; the latter being only the second outing of the unique trail run, road ride, river paddle combination endurance event over West.

Yet another exciting event takes place in New South Wales: Mountain Sports’ Nepean Odyssey, which explores the Blue Mountain National Park by means of mountain bike, kayak and trail run on 22 July.
The event covers 80 kms, starting and finishing at the Euroka Clearing and takes in some of the best landscapes the lower Blue Mountains has to offer.
