Supersize me with the ULTIMATE WEEKEND OF ADVENTURE

Chow down on an adventure combo and follow the path of Anacondal enlightenment by cashing in on Forster’s spectacular landscapes with an adventure weekend like no other…

…coastal running brimming with jaw-dropping scenery; ocean and lake paddling along expanses of stunning coastline and inland lakes; mountain bike riding up secret slopes and down white knuckle descents and swimming in water so pristine you’ll find yourself slowing down to talk to the fish. When it comes to heart-thumping fun, Forster’s adventure haven’s got it in spades.

The new Must-Do event on the national adventure calendar, The Forster Anaconda Adventure Race encourages you to come out of hibernation and polish the rust off your favourite outdoor activity to bag the big one. The Anaconda Adventure Race at Forster offers two unique and equally spectacular adventure race courses on Saturday and on Sunday. Teams and individuals can choose to do both days and gain glory in the Full Anaconda by doing both days, or may complete just the Sunday course with the Anaconda Half. Choose your adventure and reap the rewards

Day 1 –

The race starts with gallivanting gallop starting amongst the crowds at main beach, then up along the cliff tops and down the town’s massive sand dune into the pristine waters below.

From here on, Saturday’s course leads competitors generally south along a coastal adventure like no other – ranging from a stunning ocean swim under and spectacular paddle around Cape Hawk to a technical mountain bike ride up over Yarrick Mountain and rip-snorter run around Smiths Lake to finish at what must be the most beautiful finish line around – the stunning Neranie Headland.

Total distance = 48km Total enjoyment = immense.

Day 2 – (also Anaconda Half)

If day 1 put a smile on your face then day 2 will double it. Starting with a Zoot ocean swim in the sublime waters of Seal Rocks you will really think all your Christmases have come at once – this place is beautiful.

From here on the Sunday course heads north and in land as  it leads competitors back to Forster and the rowdy finish line back on Main Beach. In between, competitors will tick all the boxes with features including a scenic run along lighthouse beach, a super fun mountain bike ride through the wonderful Wallingat National Park and a picturesque paddle past the oyster beds in Wallis Lake to finish things off with a tired old swagger with your team mates over the Tuncurry bridge to then finish amidst the roars of the crowd and the beat of the music – mission complete.

Total distance = 64km. Total enjoyment = you've got it!
