If you're trying to decide which kayak to use for your next Adventure Race, this report is essential reading. Within it’s 132 pages you will find a detailed review of 41 different kayaks that were tested in July 2006. Test partners included Australian Canoeing, Australian Institute of Sport and University of Canberra. Over 30 people were involved in this exercise and it has taken the last 8 months to compile & analyse the data and prepare this report, which is being made available to you free courtesy of Rapid Ascent. Due to high printing costs, there will be no printed versions of the report available. We’d recommend that you try to access a high quality colour printer, this will deliver a much better quality print-out than b&w and the 300 high-resolution photographs will appear much clearer.
There are 8 separate chapters/files below. Each file is over 2MB in size (some are 6MB!). Even with a high-speed internet connection, it will take up to one minute to download each file. With dial-up expect to take up to half hour per file. After you have downloaded each file, we’d suggest that you “File/Save” to your hard drive, so that you can then access the files instantaneously at any time you wish. Happy reading!
