The Gold Coast Anaconda Adventure Race is a challenging off-road event that will see you racing down golden beaches, along tropical waterways and through lush hinterland wilderness as part of an adventure quest you’ll never forget. If you love an adventure, like getting out ‘n about or achieving a goal with some
team mates then this is the event for you.

Starting on the golden sands of Palm Beach at Currumbin Alley, competitors will swim in the beautiful Pacific Ocean; paddle along the coast and up a picturesque waterway; run through creeks, over hills and down rough and tumble tracks in the rainforest before mountain biking along rolling single track on the NSW / QLD border back to the finish line on the coast. Do it as a team or do it as an individual but either way you’ll have an unforgettable adventure whilst achieving an overwhelming sense of accomplishment and fun.

In addition to the race itself, there is also an adventure expo set up at Palm Beach with sponsors stands, kids entertainment, live commentary, food, drinks, displays and more so bring the whole family and make a weekend of it.

The Gold Coast Anaconda Adventure Race is the first race in the 2010 Anaconda Adventure Race National Series – the premier adventure racing series in Australia. With 3 races held in equally spectacular locations around the country you will be part of the off road revolution that is sweeping the country.

You can GO THE DISTANCE.

Choose your style and get involved - the Gold Coast race can be completed in a range of categories to get anyone and everyone to onto the start then over the finish line:
  • Individuals – do every leg as a non stop race around the track
  • Pairs – do every leg but in the company of your mate who’s by your side the whole way round
  • Relay teams – with up to 4 people where you do one (or more) legs each. A great way to get involved without being a super hero – build up a team of friends and work colleagues and join all the fun
