Welcome to stop off #1 of the Anaconda Adventure Race National Series for 2012 – beautiful Noosa, Queensland where you'll experience an adventure through tropical paradise that you'll never forget.

What dreams come to mind when you think of beautiful South Queensland… golden sandy beaches? Warm water that’s as clear as the sky overhead? Tropical rain forests? Rolling hills and hinterland? Flat water rivers and grass that’s as green as green can be…? If that’s what your dreams are filled with then welcome to your nirvana because the new Anaconda Adventure Races at Noosa include all these landscapes and more as part of an adventure escapade through paradise.

Come one, come all to experience the thrill of an off road adventure by being part of this thrilling three-race weekend designed to get EVERYONE an adrenaline charge to remember. Races include:

• Anaconda Adventure Race – the premier event for the more experienced (or the more determined!) adventure racer that includes a 61.9km course including ocean swimming and kayaking, mountain biking and trail running, open to relay teams and individuals.
• The Anaconda Mini – a new ‘half distance’ event designed for beginners and intermediate racers who cover a 26.9km course including inlet swimming and kayaking, mountain biking and trail running. Also open to relay teams and individuals.
• The Anaconda Junior Survivor – a super fun adventure challenge event designed and run especially for children aged between 5 and 13 years of age that gives them their own dose of off-road fun.

Previously held at Palm Beach (and Currimbin before that) on the Gold Coast, location #1 of the 2012 Anaconda Adventure Race National Series has been relocated to beautiful Noosa for a healthy change and round of new adventures.

So lock Saturday August 11th and Sunday August 12th in the diary now, get the family out training, pack the car and book your accommodation because the Anaconda Adventure Race weekend just won’t come soon enough!
