Rapid Ascent Victorian mountain bike race schedule

If you prefer your tyres knobby and your adrenaline flowing, then you’ll be keen to lock the Otway Odyssey Mountain Bike Marathon and Bike Buller MTB Festival into your 2011 race schedule. The 2011 Otway Odyssey – Australia’s ultimate MTB marathon will be held on Saturday February 19th and will once again include the premier 100km Odyssey from Apollo Bay to Forrest, the 50km Otway Shorty starting and finishing in Forrest and the introductory 15km Otway Pioneer. Marysville to Melbourne attracts its first entrant – all the way from Botswana!

The Marysville to Melbourne Multisport Challenge (M2M) is quickly building sky-high awareness amongst all athletes and we are stoked to announce our very first entrant into our newest event – Kelby Murray from Botswana. Not only is he the first entrant, but Kelby will probably have the furthest to travel to take part in this iconic event as well. Dirt Works 100km Classic – VIC 7th November 2010

The Dirt Works VIC (formerly the BMC 100km Classic) is back for a third year set amongst the fantastic trails of the Wombat State Forest. The event is staged from the picturesque Cammeray Waters at Woodend in Victoria, only one hour’s drive from central Melbourne and 40 minutes from the airport. The course includes a mix of fast fire trail, pine forest single track, 4wd trails and up to 50% technical and flowing single track. 2010 Racing the Planet - the Kimberly’s, an account by Robbie Adams

The Racing the Planet is a unique category of rough country footraces that take place over seven days and some 250 kilometers in some rugged and remote parts of the world. This international series saw an event take place in the Kimberley’s in April and this is an account of that race by West Australian adventure racer Robbie Adams.
