Congratulations to 37 year old Paul Navarro from Mermaid Waters in QLD who won a $500 Anaconda gift voucher having entered before the early bird cut-off date for the race at the Gold Coast this year. Rapid Ascent’s race director John Jacoby has stood atop the GeoQuest podium for the second straight year. John, 43 is considered a veteran of the sport with wins in the Coast to Coast World Multisport Championship in the late 80’s and early 90’s, as well as a string of Adventure Racing wins since then including the prestige Raid Gaulloise, Eco Challenge and Mild Seven Outdoor Quest. $50K prize purse up for grabs at the NSW Westlink M7 Cities Marathon

The 2008 Westlink M7 Cities Marathon near Sydney will be held on Sunday 27th July 2008 (6.30am) starting from Ash Road Sports Fields, Prestons to Blacktown Olympic Park. The Athletics Australia Certified Course is predominantly on the Westlink M7's Shared Pathway, which runs alongside the Motorway.
