Dunsborough Anaconda Adventure Race set to be the biggest in the world
With a sell out field of competitors, the Dunsborough Anaconda Adventure Race is set to be a massive weekend with accommodation in the region booked out as well.
In fact, as far as our research can determine, the 2008 Anaconda Adventure Race at Dunsborough will set a number of records with the following monumental facts:
It will be Western Australia’s biggest ever mountain bike race (by participation numbers)
It will be the largest ever paddling race in Australia (by boat number)

The inaugural Bike Buller MTB Festival is set to race at Mt Buller in March 2009

Kids get ready to rumble for the first ever Anaconda Junior Survivor in Victoria in Lorne
The Anaconda Junior Survivor is an action packed off road adventure challenge designed especially for kids aged 6 – 13yrs and for the first time ever is coming to Victoria and Lorne! – get into it.
The event has proved massively popular in 2006, 2007 and 2008 where it has been held in conjunction with the Anaconda Adventure Race on the Gold Cost and for the first time IS NOW COMING TO LORNE ON DECEMBER 6TH. Kids should be ready and set to rumble on Saturday December 6th with the event kicking off at 3:00 pm from the Lorne foreshore.

Keen Adventure Race preview and competitors support

Anaconda Geogaphe Bay Athlete Profile - 105 Not Out
Well it was the combined age of both Dave Norton and Rob Lees who are entered into the pairs category of the upcoming race in Geographe Bay next weekend. It is the second time these blokes have taken up the beast that is the Anaconda Adventure Race in WA and we're going to leave it in its wake this year after their first attempt last year.
Dave is the senior partner in the duo and constantly amazes Rob with his strength and tenacity; he is a cross between the ‘Terminator’ and ‘Forrest Gump’, he starts running and doesn’t know when to stop.
