The opening of entries for the 2010 Bike Buller MTB Festival has been delayed a little because we are (forever) waiting for some insurance information to be returned to us. The event’s insurance is not the problem, it’s just that we are trying to find a way to offer riders in the event personal accident insurance coverage.

We have been in discussion with MTBA (for up to 2 years) but unfortunately it seems that we just cannot make this work for both of us so are pursuing cover with other insurance companies that will exceed the MTBA policy for lower than the $15 MTBA day licence fee.

We are nearing an outcome so stay tuned for an update and announcement about entries opening very soon (hopefully in very early October).
