James Pretto and Elizabeth Dorman paddled to victory on the 155km course from the mountain township of Marysville into Melbourne’s Yarra’s Edge at the Docklands in one of the most challenging point-to-point endurance races in Australia.

MEDIA RELEASE: The Augusta Adventure Race reached capacity in a record time of nine and a half hours with over 1,700 competitors joining the adventure institution after entries opened at 12:00pm AEST on Wednesday 10 April.

UPDATE @ 9:30pmAEST. Entries to the premier Augusta Adventure race have just sold out with 850 entries and 1789 competitors entering in 9.5 hrs to fill the main race. Entries to the August Mini and Junior Survivor are still open, as with all races at Lorne.

Canoeing WA in conjunction with the Northam Avon Descent Association are running a program for WOMEN ONLY who would love the challenge to train and compete in the iconic 2013 Act-Belong-Commit Avon Descent.

The response to the new X-Adventure has been very impressive with 800+ competitors already entered and heading down south for a weekend of action on March 23rd and 24th, 2013.
