Course Description and Maps

Course description and map

The event starts with all kids lined up on the beach at Lorne with the 12-13 age group at the front, then the 10-11 age group, then the 8-9 age group and finally the under 8yrs at the back. Each age group will then start one at a time, with 1 minute separating each group (listen out for your age group kids because you don’t want to miss your start!)

The course is approximately 4km long and takes kids on a real adventure as it winds its way in and around the bush and beach around the Adventure Expo. Often parents are amazed as to just how far (and fast) their kids go when in included in the enthusiasm of the event so it may look like a long way but kids love it and do it easily!

The course for the 2012 Anaconda Junior Survivor will be very similar to the super popular course used in 2010 and 2011 so kids you're sure to have a great time!!

Check out the course map below but basically the course is:

  • Approximately 4km long.
  • Will include approximately 12 different obstacles and exercises along it (all supervised).
  • Will involve kids getting wet and going into the water up to their knees (only if ocean conditions are calm).
  • Can be completed by kids un-supervised by their parents.
